Flynet Viewer beats the competition for The Legend Group

The Legend Group is a Florida-based provider of retirement planning services. For over forty-years, they have been helping people to invest in their future. Client information is held securely in an AS/400 application but the emulation software they were using was too costly.

IBM Host On-Demand provides enterprise-level emulation. It has a larger footprint than Flynet Viewer and is more complex. The Legend Group looked at a number of alternative emulators, but felt that the “Thin Client” aspect of Viewer was most compelling. Using Flynet Viewer, administrators do not need to install anything on client machines. Users are simply directed via a web address in Internet Explorer to the AS/400 web-based emulation.
